President & Chief Executive Officer
Michael joined CDI in October 2014 and became CFO in March 2015. In September 2017, he was named CDI President and Interim CEO while continuing to serve as Chief Financial Officer.
Michael was previously President of Kenmore, Craftsman and Diehard brands, where he was responsible for all strategy and operations related to product development and management, brand marketing, strategic sourcing, business development and brand extensions. He initially joined Kenmore, Craftsman and Diehard as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for financial management and operational performance improvement.
Previously, he founded or co-founded several investment firms, including Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, the venture capital affiliate of Lehman Brothers Holdings, where he served as Managing Director and Co-Head. There, he served as Director or Board Advisor to numerous companies, and executed a variety of corporate initiatives related to strategic development, equity and debt financing, and mergers and acquisitions.
Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Columbia Business School.
