Core Engineering/Design Services
CDI-Government Services, Marine Design Division supports new
construction, conversion and modification projects to public and private shipyards
for U.S. government agencies and commercial shipbuilders, ship owners and operators.
It provides traditional, computer generated detailed engineering and design services,
naval architecture, technical publications and logistics support principally in
the shipbuilding industry. CDI-Government Services, Marine Design Division supports
the US Navy and international navies and their contractors in the area of integrated
shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance,
and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and weapons systems. The Marine Design Division employs
state-of-the-art scientific/technical computer software, CADD/reproduction equipment,
and complete reference/guidance information to increase efficiency and deliver high-value
work on time and on budget.
